Our Famous All Inclusive Ranch Vacations!
All of the Memories, None of the Stress.
Our All Inclusive Ranch Vacations Have You Covered.
Our 6 night, 5 day itineraries include about 6 hours a day with your guides. This will be spent learning horsemanship, checking on our Sangre Best Beef Cattle, enjoying a homemade picnic lunch each day, exploring the ranch and much more.
This leaves you with several hours a day to relax in the hammock, fire up the Hot Tub, take a nap or shower after your exciting day on the ranch, or really just to do whatever you want to do. We have learned that it is necessary and FUN not to have every minute of your vacation planned out for you - just enough to keep you hungry for more.
As far as food goes, once you book you will receive a series of emails from us. These emails include a full ranch menu where you will be able to pick (as a group) what you want to eat each day for breakfast, lunch, and dinner (and of course dessert!!) This allows us to plan ahead for your meals but also allows for you to arrive fully prepared for your stay, no decisions needed! Just make yourselves at home and enjoy :)
Even though we have a general itinerary, our guides will make specific goals with each person in your group and get the feel for your group collectively. This will help us tailor the experience to what you and your loved ones would enjoy the most.

THE RANCH
You will be visiting a 4,000 acre working cattle ranch just outside of Westcliffe, Colorado. We have some of the darkest skies in the US (which means you will see an incredible amount of stars) and house traqulity here.
We have strong core values- true to our cowboy selves. Helping others, working hard, showing respect to people and animals alike, and always learning are just some of the values we believe in.
We only have one lodging facility on the WHOLE RANCH! What this means for your group is complete exclusivity to our facilities and full attention from our coaches.
THE HORSES
We pride ourselves in having some of the most well trained horses you can find on a guest ranch. For your enjoyment and your safety, we spend countless hours training our horses as well as coaching each guest to ride them with true horsemanship for everyone's benefit.
Not only do we care about how well behaved our animals are, we care deeply about their experience living here at Music Meadows Ranch. They get to graze and just be horses in the open meadows when they aren't working. This allows them to practice their innate social structure with Herd Dynamics.
You will learn all about Herd Dynamics on your very first day so you can understand how important it is to practice being a good leader for your horse. Don't worry if you show up knowing nothing, we are well equipped to help beginners and seasoned horseman alike.

THE RANCH HOUSE
Originally a homestead in the late 1800s, rooms have been added on and it is now a cozy 3 bedroom, 2 bathroom Ranch House. There are beds for 8 people with a full kitchen and cozy fireplace in the living room to spend quality time around.
Although we encourage you to take some time away from the real world, we do have wifi for your use.
There is a wonderfully big yard with a fire pit, hammock, giant teepee, horseshoe pit, our new rustic hot tub, and the creek running through it.

Do you want to get a head start on booking your Ranch Vacation? Let's get something rolling!

Let's get into the FAQ's
Q: What do I do with my free time?
A: You can shower, soak in the hot tub, enjoy the campfire, play horseshoes, take a hike, play in the creek, rope the dummy, play board games, read a book, fish in the private ponds, star gaze, relax in the hammock, or explore town. You can also learn how to help with real ranch chores like fencing, irrigation, and putting out salt for the livestock.
Q: What is the minimum age for children to go out on rides?
A: Your child must be at least 5 years old to join the rides going out. For children four and under we have our little britches program in the round pen.
Q: Is this physically demanding?
A: Yes! Being on a horse several hours a day takes a lot of energy (and so does learning!) This is why we provide several hours of free time each day so you can rest and rejuvenate with a nap and the Rustic Hot Tub & Epsom salts.
Q: What is the weight limit?
A: Our weight requirements are a BMI of 30 or less with a max weight of 265lbs. This is for your safety and for our horses' safety as well. If you don't meet those requirements, we have a horse drawn wagon so you can still tag along with your crew!
Q: What is the cost breakdown?
A: $2,500 per person for the week is the breakdown. This covers lodging, 3 homemade meals per day per person, and all of the horse activities and private coaching. There is a minimum of 4 people per group, so recruit some friends if you don't have enough!
Q: What does "Private Guest Ranch" mean?
A: This is the Most Private Guest Ranch Experience in America!! This means that we ONLY host one group at a time. When your group is there, you will not see anyone else on the ranch except your guides. You get to customize your meals, activities, and get to experience one on one coaching with real cowgirls. This also means if you want to get a little but rowdy at night, no one is here to judge you ;)
Q: Where are you located?
A: We are in a tiny little town called Westcliffe in Southern Colorado. We are a registered "Dark Skies" Community which means we protect our skies from light pollution. You will see more stars out here than you can imagine, you can even see the Milky Way Galaxy on a clear night!
Q: Can I ride while pregnant?
A: You may ride in the first trimester and will need to let us know! If you are past the first trimester, you may ride in the wagon to join the fun!

What is the cancellation policy?
The 60% deposit is non-refundable. This is because we are reserving the whole ranch just for you!!
The remaining 40% is due upon arrival or beforehand.
We understand that things happen and in case of an emergency, we will work with you on rescheduling your stay to an open date in the future.
We also work with a wonderful travel insurance agency and will give you their information once you book so you can protect your stay just in case anything comes up and changes plans.

What Our Guests Are Saying!

Chad Sanderson
"To say this place is beautiful is an understatement! We went with the all-inclusive option over New Years and engaged in the horsemanship clinic. It was MAGICAL! We got to train the horses, learn how to saddle, ride, have picnics out on the ranch, sit at night by a beautiful bonfire and the experience is one we will talk about for YEARS! The staff are incredible and delivered a true ranch experience which is exactly what we were looking for. A quaint and well appointed ranch house, great homestyle food, numerous rides and time with the horses...it was UNBELIEVABLE! If you're looking for a luxury, bougie type of experience this isn't for you, but if you want comfortable, warm, real, authentic, a place filled with love, laughter and adventures and you can flex with ranch time, then DO NOT HESITATE!!!"

Leah Metsgar
"I highly recommend Music Meadows Ranch! The most wonderful family experience, one we can’t wait to repeat. A unique atmosphere, amazing people and delicious food. The communication with Nicole from the beginning to the end of our trip was so good. Elin and Madeline are awesome instructors and you leave feeling like you’ve made new friends. They are both kind and patient teachers, whom you’ll learn so much horsemanship from. No boring rides here; you will cross creeks, go up and down the mountain sides and duck through aspens! The landscape and views are breathtaking! Whether you’re looking up at the Sangre de Cristo peaks or down at the valley below, it is all picture perfect. The farmhouse is quaint and comfortable, and everyone we encountered was very welcoming. I can’t say enough good things about Music Meadows Ranch, book a trip there and I guarantee you’ll agree. Truly a hidden gem!"

Jennifer Frescott
"Breathtakingly beautiful in every shape and form. Retreat to paradise where you can step back into history with the cabin and barn. All your stresses slip away at Music Meadows Ranch. Wake up to see horses right outside your window, which was a dream come true for our daughters. Elin and Nicole were the most patient and encouraging teachers to make sure we were safe and had fun riding the horses solo! Sherri cooked the best meals made with love! This experience is unlike anything our family has ever encountered. Do yourself a favor and book a trip to Music Meadows Ranch. You won’t regret it! They’ll become your family and you’ll feel so loved every step of the way!"
