About The Author
I am the 5th of 6 kids born to the Parker family. My home town is Arriba, CO (east of Limon) and my family has owned and operated a ranch and farm there since 1945. I oversee the operation there in addition to managing Music Meadows. I graduated from Colorado State University in Animal Science, married a rancher from Westcliffe, raised two boys and two girls (youngest is 12), then I divorced after 26 years and am now starting my 2nd year of living at Music Meadows Ranch full time. I have a deep and abiding relationship with the Lord Jesus Christ and I take not one day for granted living in this rugged, beautiful, land and working with horses, cattle and people.
